cilantro.lime.tuna.burgers I made these Cilantro-Lime Tuna Burgers for lunch as a recovery meal after a heavy leg day in the gym. Got my complex carbs to refuel my muscles with the whole grain bun, protein from the tuna to help repair and rebuild, along with some healthy fats from the olive oil and antioxidants from the cilantro, garlic, lime and green onions to help with inflammation and muscle soreness. They ARE as good as they look. I’m glad this batch makes five, because I was happy to have leftovers to come home to after a long day of work.

Cilantro-Lime Tuna Burgers

Active prep time: 15 minutes, Refrigeration time: 30 minutes

Makes 5 burgers

  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro with stems removed
